I mean for 1K you could get the remaining stock of the Fender American Special series. You can get entry level Gibsons. WebChapman is reasonable quality (same factory as Agile and some of the PRS SE guitars, so it's perfectly acceptable) but it's not going to compete with what you can get from a used $1000 guitar.
