White goes from the S terminal, to the stator plug (the only single-connection plug) Ground the red/black wire to the case, and the body, at the other end, for good measure. WebSep 11, 2013 · First get rid of the gen mount as it won't fit any ford alt. You need the triangular mount bracket, a long bolt and the ford spacer that goes between the back side of the alt and the block. You may have to use some washers to get the right belt alignment. The lower adjust bracket is different than the one on the gen.

Just take the positive cable that goes to the current voltage regulator (its the thickest wire, I believe it's yellow, it may have a black stripe i don't recall) and attach it to the stud that is on the alternator. For a better remote Sense, run that small red terminal #2 terminal, To the horn relay. If not needed, for a better, neater wire count, just jump it to terminal #1.
