However, powertech is more a melee … WebFeb 15, 2012 · If you want to Dps or heal go Merc if you want to tank go Powertech. This is actually misleading. mercs can heal and dps,PTs can tank and dps. What it really comes down to is, do you prefer dishing out mostly ranged dps or want to dps mid-range/melee range? Mercs are ranged and PTs have more of a mid-range,in your face style to them.

While the rifle is pretty cool, I feel like the assault cannon > dual pistols, and the Powertech wielding a single pistol is more fitting because of all the gear he uses with his offhand (extendable vibroblade, flamethrowers, rockets, etc.). It just makes sense that the Powertech would only wield a single pistol. WebAfter playing BH and Agent I am just not looking forward to playing tech classes again. I do not know what it is about them, but I just can't get into it. It's not a story issue, it's a play style issue. Played Pyro on BH, and Lethality with Agent primarily. Did not enjoy sniper AT ALL, lethality was tolerable but still felt meh.
